LIS Notes re California 2010 Legislation

Some bill research does not include the Governor's file because at the time we researched the bill, the sitting Governor had not released his chaptered bill file. If the Governor's file is not included with this particular research, please contact our office (1-530-666-1917 or quote@legintent.com) and we will be happy to provide this file at no charge if it is available. Please Note: Governor files did not exist prior to 1943.

We found it interesting here at Legislative Intent Service, Inc. that we were asked to research twice as many 2010 bills during the 2010 year than we were asked for 2009 bills during year 2009.  Maybe this means one or both of two things:  either the economy is improving so more dollars are freed up for research or the 2010 bills were just more interesting and controversial to our clients.
