H.R. 6184, the “Water Resources Development Act of 2000,” was introduced on September 22, 2010 by Rep. Rick Larsen of Washington and signed by the President on December 18, 2010. This measure amends the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 to authorize the Secretary of the Army to accept and expend funds contributed by non-federal public entities to expedite the evaluation of permits of such entities related to projects for a public purpose under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Army through December 31, 2016, under specification direction.
