H.R. 6473, the “Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2010, Part IV” was introduced by Rep. James Oberstar of Minnesota on December 2, 2010 and signed by the President on December 22, 2010.  In part, this Act amends the IRC to extend through 03/31/2011 increased excise taxes on aviation fuels and the excise tax on air transportation of persons and property, as well as the expenditure authority of the Airport and Airway Trust Fund.
