If the Governor's file is not included with this particular research, please contact our office (1-530-666-1917 or quote@legintent.com) and we will be happy to provide this file at no charge if it is available. Please Note: Governor files did not exist prior to 1943.
In 1995, Senate Bill No. 36 affected Nevada Revised Statutes (“N.R.S.) related to controlled substances as follows:
AN ACT relating to controlled substances; requiring the board of
pharmacy and the investigation division of the department of motor vehicles and public safety to develop a computerized program to track prescriptions for certain controlled substances that are filled by pharmacies; limiting the board’s authority to impose an additional fee to cover the cost of the program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
(See Exhibit 1d, page 1433)
Senate Bill 36 was introduced on December 29, 1994 by the Senate Committee on Judiciary at the request of the State Board of Pharmacy and the Investigation Division “to combat the growing problem of prescription drug abuse.” (See Exhibits #1a and #3, page 2)
