SB 1105, c. 577: Teacher credentialing; criminal convictions.
Expands the definition of "conviction" when applied to suspending or revoking teaching credentials to include pleas of nolo contendere, allows the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to make adverse action findings available for up to five years, as specified, and requires the Legislature to convene a workgroup to study specific sections of the Education Code, and to report on its findings before December 1, 2009.
