Legislative Intent News & Notes
Some bill research does not include the Governor's file because at the time we researched the bill, the sitting Governor had not released his chaptered bill file. If the Governor's file is not included with this particular research, please contact our office (1-800-666-1917 or firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will be happy to provide this file at no charge if it is available.

May Your Days Be Merry and Bright!
Happy Holidays to all of our clients!
All of us at LIS wish you a joyous celebration
And a great New Year!
We look forward to meeting your legislative and administrative history research needs in 2016. Every law has a history, an intended purpose with ideas proposed and compromises negotiated. The facts are out there and our mission is to help you find them.
Since 1974, we have helped litigators, researchers, legal professionals and judges find these pieces of the truth to reveal the factual reality that has led to winning their cases and understanding their area of practice.
LIS’ office as well as most of the state libraries and Capital offices will be closed on December 25, 2015 and January 1, 2016. As a result, all fast turnaround research time frames that are ordered around these dates will be moved over by one to two days, depending on the Capitol and library closure schedules. We will also have a reduced staff on December 24, 2015, but we should still be able to assist with most client requests. If you could try to pin down any “legislative history emergencies” early in the week, that would be great!
Reminder: for those of you working over the holidays, our online store is open 24/7!
Lastly, we at Legislative Intent Service, Inc., pride ourselves on our teamwork and coordination. Just ask Heather Thomas, Esq. and researcher, Kim Bryan!
