Legislative Intent News & Notes - Holiday Greetings

Some bill research does not include the Governor's file because at the time we researched the bill, the sitting Governor had not released his chaptered bill file. If the Governor's file is not included with this particular research, please contact our office (1-530-666-1917 or quote@legintent.com) and we will be happy to provide this file at no charge if it is available. Please Note: Governor files did not exist prior to 1943.

 Season’s Greetings

&

Best Wishes for the New Year!

Check out our 2017 Holiday card

This past year, we provided our clients with legislative intent research on legislation enacted by the federal government, 15 different states and the District of Columbia.  We researched regulations on topics ranging from newborns to oil and gas wells.  Our clients practice in every area of law and we feel blessed to work in a field where our expertise can assist all.

We look forward to meeting your legislative and administrative history research needs in 2018 (and the last week of 2017)!

Please note: LIS’ office as well as most of the state libraries and Capital offices will be closed on December 25, 2017 and January 1, 2018.  As a result, all fast turnaround research time frames that are ordered around these dates will be moved over by one to two days, depending on the Capitol and library closure schedules. We will also have a reduced staff on December 26, 2017, but we should still be able to assist with most client requests.  If you could try to pin down any “legislative history emergencies” as early as possible, that would be great!

Reminder: for those of you working over the holidays, our online store is open 24/7!

Our store now has over 16,300 bills available for immediate download!
