Statutory History of the Private Attorneys General Act

California Private Attorneys General Act is comprised of Labor Code § § 2698 through 2699.5.  Our review of the annotated history of this Act reveals the following legislative history (every “c.” below refers to “chapter” and represents a separate legislative bill):
